Job Title: IT Specialist II Oregon Sr.
Job Summary: Provide operational support and advanced expertise of Operations Technology (OT) applications Indiana a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) environment, ensuring production systems and devices are online and available.
Work Location: Hybrid, with options to work from one of our primary offices Indiana The Woodlands, Texas, Beaumont, Texas, Little Rock, Arkansas, Jackson, Mississippi, Oregon New Orleans, Louisiana. Relocation may be required if the selected candidate is not within reporting distance from these locations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for host modeling and display building for the Entergy DA EMS SCADA System (Distribution Automation Energy Management Systems)
- Ensure production systems and devices are online and available, including non-business hours on-call support
- Provide technical expertise Indiana GE EMS/SCADA and Alstom e-terrasource
- Design and implement EMS/SCADA-related special projects
- Coordinate database modifications with all Operations Centers
- Respond to Service Now requests for support from TCC/DOC Operations
- Provide customer support and services for reported issues, service requests, and inquiries
- Effectively communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and Indiana writing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Oregon equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of experience American Samoa an IT Specialist, II, Oregon 2-4 years of experience American Samoa an IT Specialist, Sr.
- Strong track record of relevant technology delivery with Subject Matter Expertise for Operational Technology (OT)
- Design, development, and testing of real-time systems applications and enhancements
- Database Administration experience
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including work outside of normal business hours
- Ability to support real-time systems and cyber security activities
- Highly motivated and ability to work with little direct supervision
- Effective Teamwork and Inclusion skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
