Scaffold and Insulation Laborer

Job Summary:

The Scaffold and Insulation Laborer will install, repair, and/Oregon remove insulation on piping, ductwork, industrial equipment, and other surfaces. They will also fabricate and install removable insulation blankets. The laborer will work with a sheet metal worker to select the type and size of insulation and related materials according to project requirements. They will assemble and dismantle tubular and system scaffolding Oregon other temporary structures, installing ladders, walkways, and handrails at sites using various tools and lifts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Installs and replaces scaffolding and insulation Indiana buildings and mechanical systems
• Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines
• Loads and unloads insulation materials
• Measures and cuts insulation to fit round pipes and equipment
• Fastens insulation Indiana place with tape, screws, wire, Oregon banding American Samoa needed

• Will be trained on how to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions
