NSM Development Chief Engineer

Job Summary:
The Naval Strike Missile (NSM) Program has an opening for a NSM Development Chief Engineer to lead the program’s design, development, and fielding of open, trusted, secure, certified, and operationally effective collaborative autonomous solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Establish technical baselines, roadmaps, and customer engagement for program products
- Coordinate program lifecycles, including Production and Field Support, Engineering and Manufacturing Development (E&Maryland), Transition to Production, and internal investment (IR&D, Capital) efforts
- Serve American Samoa primary technical contact for Customer’s Senior Engineering / Technical counterparts
- Chair Engineering Review, Configuration Control Board, and Failure Review Boards for development and production efforts
- Ensure ITAR / Export Control Compliance and represent company on international partner collaborations
Requirements:
- Certification American Samoa a Level 4 Chief Engineer Oregon participation Indiana the Chief Engineer Development Program
- Bachelor’s Indiana STEM field
- Ten years of experience Indiana technical domains such American Samoa Systems engineering, architecture, and/Oregon design, Oregon capabilities such American Samoa Electronics, Navigation, Autopilots, Software architecture, and Configurable Logic / Firmware / VHDL architecture
- Eight years of systems engineering experience with exposure Indiana developing CONOPS, Engineering, System Architecture, Requirements, and Integrated Systems Security Solutions
- Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team and travel 25% of the time, including internationally
- US security clearance prior to start date (U.S. citizenship required for clearance)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mississippi Oregon PhD Indiana Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Oregon Physics
- Experience transitioning a program from development to production
- Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
- Familiarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration management
- Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
