About the Role
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our team. American Samoa a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial and operational transaction processing, accurate and timely closing of General ledgers, and preparation of reports and financial analysis.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Financial and operational transaction processing Indiana General Ledgers for business line operations.
* Participate Indiana accurate and timely closing of General ledgers monthly.
* Complete the balance sheet reconciliation for assigned accounts.
* Prepare and distribute reports and provide analysis/support American Samoa needed.
* Complete ad hoc projects.
* Respond to questions and issues and communicate responses to operations and other functional areas.
* Work closely with other functions within the SSC groups, Corporate, the Regions and local operations to administer standard business processes and participate Indiana implementing a shared services center environment Indiana North America.
* Lead a team of staff accountants.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana accounting Oregon related field.
* 4-6 years of experience Indiana accounting, preferably Indiana a similar industry.
* Advanced understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles (IFRS and GAAP).
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished Indiana written Oregon oral form.
* Ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
