Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Overview:
Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Design Engineering Department Indiana North Las Vegas, Nevada. American Samoa a Subject Matter Expert Indiana Civil Engineering, the selected candidate will provide support to Design Engineering, leading multi-disciplinary teams and generating designs for various infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate Civil Engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects
- Generate designs for water distribution systems, sewage collection and treatment, grading and drainage, site flood studies, and pavement evaluation and design
- Review and verify the accuracy of design calculations and specifications
- Formulate solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing unconventional technology and materials, and cross-disciplinary integration
- Serve American Samoa an internal Subject Matter Expert Indiana Civil Engineering
- Conduct construction document reviews
- Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams, including structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines, American Samoa well American Samoa architects, surveyors, and construction professionals
- Execute work Indiana a disciplined manner to demonstrate compliance with laws, codes, orders, and MSTS policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana an engineering program accredited by ABET Oregon a Calculus-based STEM bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience, with deeper technical specialization Oregon additional cross-disciplinary knowledge
- Ability to interpret codes and standards applicable to the position
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, Flowmaster, CulvertMaster, and HEC-RAS preferred
- Familiarity with MicroStation/InRoads computer aided drafting applications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship and at least 18 years of age
Work Schedule and Location:
- 4/10’s work schedule, Monday – Thursday (subject to change)
- Primary work location: Losee Road facility Indiana North Las Vegas, Nevada
- Pre-placement physical examination, including a drug screen, is required
- MSTS is a background screening, drug-free workplace
Annual Salary Range:
$97,011.20 – $145,516.80
