Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager
Job Summary:
Implement and develop comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (EHS) processes for assigned projects, providing leadership and guidance to project teams and ensuring compliance with corporate, divisional, and regional EHS programs and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site-specific HSE plans, working closely with project managers and the management team
- Coordinate EHS protocols with subcontractors, vendors, and owner personnel working on company projects
- Lead investigations and analysis of incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective measures
- Ensure timely completion of reports and compliance with established procedures
- Implement Industrial Hygiene protocols and manage the Company’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy
- Provide training and education on safety requirements, including new hire EHS orientation programs
- Complete and provide weekly EHS updates to EHS leadership
- Administer the corporate SPAT process on assigned projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering, Oregon Construction Management
- CHST certification (Construction Health & Safety Technician)
- Minimum 7 years of experience on major construction projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of regulations and standards, hazard recognition, and injury management skills
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and/Oregon climb stairs Oregon ladders
- Some travel required
