Senior Project Controls Manager: Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Controls Manager to lead the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas for life science and industrial manufacturing capital projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, monitoring delivery, and ensuring exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives
  • Champion a diverse and inclusive working environment and understand the importance of the wellbeing of the people you manage
  • Manage and grow cost management teams Oregon accounts
  • Interface with clients, external and internal consultants at all project stages
  • Conduct feasibility studies and produce procurement reports
  • Produce ROMs for new and pipeline projects for a project budget to be based on
  • Day-to-day cost management of medium-large scale client projects including procurement, pay requests, change management, and cost reporting
  • Apply value management techniques at the outset of a project involving existing protocols and systems
  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including, pre-qualification, enquiry, evaluation, selection, and contract preparation are performed effectively
  • Ensure that post-contract cost variances, change control, cost checking, and valuation processes are managed effectively
  • Ensure the production of monthly post-contract and cost reports and present them to the client
  • Provide value engineering and life cycle costing
  • Manage the final account negotiation and agreement
  • Ongoing updating of benchmarking efforts American Samoa new projects are executed to provide real cost data to clients

Requirements

  • Relevant degree
  • Demonstrated capital program leadership experience
  • Experience effectively managing integrated team(s) on large complex and multi-phase life science Oregon industrial manufacturing capital programs
  • Knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including alternative project delivery (design build and construction manager at risk)
  • Experience using Cora Systems project management software
  • Experience working Indiana Arizona, California, and Indiana
  • Mississippi Oregon MBA preferred
