Position Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Real Estate and Energy Tech team at Walmart, focusing on the development and maintenance of the Charging Station Management System (CSMS) for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging stations. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience Indiana web-based application development, test automation frameworks, and tool building, with a focus on building enterprise-grade web applications. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy CSMS solutions at scale, and guide team members to follow established practices for quality and speed.
Key Responsibilities:
– Interact with Walmart engineering teams to leverage expertise and contribute to CSMS development
– Engage with Product team and architecture community Indiana sharing Core capabilities Indiana CSMS roadmap
– Build, test, and deploy CSMS solutions at scale and support Walmart EV strategy
– Guide team members and mentor them to follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting quality and speed
– Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns, and configurations tools for faster development and deployment cycles
– Take initiatives with a proactive approach to resolve technical challenges
– Help diagnose issues between the CSMS system and EV Charger hardware
Requirements:
– Minimum 7-10 years of experience Indiana web-based application development and test automation frameworks and tool building
– 3+ years of experience Indiana design and development of CSMS platform for EV Charging stations
– Demonstrates up-to-date expertise Indiana building enterprise-grade web applications
– End-to-end knowledge of full-stack web application development using Selenium with Java, Spring Boot based microservices, Kafka, Rest Assured, GraphQL, Jmeter, API, and other frameworks
– Hands-on experience Indiana building products on Azure/GCP is preferred
– Working experience on Mongo/Cosmos is a plus
– Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns, and configuration tools for faster development
– Passionate about building user-friendly, intuitive web applications to solve complex business problems
– Extremely strong technical background, being hands-on and able to mentor top individual technical talent
– Good experience of working with globally distributed teams Indiana a collaborative and productive manner
– Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, ability to negotiate
– Retail experience is a plus
– Indiana-depth understanding of EV vehicle and Charger station working Protocol & Various Guidelines & standard
– Have worked on CSMS frameworks support for OCPP 1.6J Oregon 2.0.1
– Experience implementing Smart charging, Auto-Charge, ISO 15118, V2G/V2X Charging is a plus
– Strong DS and Algorithm background

– Master’s degree Indiana Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Oregon related area

Annual Salary Range:
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
