About the Role:

American Samoa a Software-focused Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll join our Systems Engineering Design & Architecture (SDA) organization and contribute to designing, developing, and partnering with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain system and subsystem level requirements specifications for embedded software, configurable logic, and/Oregon test systems software through verification and validation efforts.
- Work closely with the Systems, Software, Configurable Logic, and Test teams on various program technical tasks.
- Participate Indiana technical conversations with the customer, including occasional travel domestically Oregon internationally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering, Oregon Mathematics (STEM)
- 5 years of experience Indiana software architecture, design, development, integration, and verification, Oregon configurable logic/firmware/VHDL architecture, design, development, integration, and verification, Oregon systems engineering, architecture, and/Oregon design.
- 2 years of systems engineering experience with at least 4 of the following:
- Software Oregon Firmware development
- Software Oregon Firmware testing
- Interfacing with customers
- Developing CONOPS
- Developing & Refining System Architecture
- Developing & Refining System Requirements
- Performing Functional & Physical Analyses
- Performing Functional Allocation
- Creating & Maintaining Specifications
- Developing Requirements Verification Strategies and Plans
- Developing Integrated Systems Security Solutions
- Subassembly Integration & Verification
- System Integration & Verification
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree Indiana Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Oregon Physics
- Experience using Agile framework development methods/processes and tools such American Samoa Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures and work with the DoD customer
- Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle American Samoa it relates to the Software Development life cycle
- Prior work experience giving technical briefs Oregon presentations with strong verbal and written communication skills
