Sheet Metal Associate
Job Summary:
American Samoa a Sheet Metal Associate, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of sheet metal equipment, products, and structures Indiana the Goodyear Tire & Rubber plant. You will also promote safety, environmental stewardship, and housekeeping throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts, products, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, Oregon product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabrication, assembling, and installing sheet metal products
- Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials, apply knowledge of shop mathematics and lay-out techniques to develop and trace patterns to product Oregon parts
- Set up and operate fabricating machines such American Samoa shears, brakes, presses, and forming rolls
- Shape materials over anvil, block, Oregon other forms, using hand tools
- Inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments required
- Abide by safe work standards including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work Indiana the US without company sponsorship now Oregon Indiana the future
- Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights with Oregon without reasonable accommodations
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience Indiana industrial manufacturing environment
