Job Title: Assists with Coordination of Ready-Mix Plant Operations
Job Summary: Assist with coordination of daily plant operations, ensuring safety, environmental, and regulatory expectations are met, and production is maintained while adhering to company values, vision, and mission. Lead when supervisor is off-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Emphasize company safety culture, adhere to safety procedures, and report potentially unsafe conditions
- Assist with plant operations, including quality control, customer service, and mobile equipment operation
- Coordinate and monitor scheduled deliveries, maintain radio contact with drivers, and ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Operate heavy equipment, such American Samoa loaders, skid-steers, and other mobile equipment used Indiana production operations
- Ensure adequate supply of aggregate materials Indiana plant supply bins
- Perform minor equipment maintenance tasks, manual labor, and site housekeeping duties American Samoa needed
- Collaborate with drivers, suppliers, customers, company representatives, and others Indiana a professional manner
- Support company strategic initiatives and engage Indiana basic quality control tasks, inventory maintenance, and ordering raw materials
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required; CDL a plus
- Valid drivers’ license and ability to maintain a clean motor vehicle record required
- Previous experience working Indiana an aggregate production Oregon similar environment preferred, American Samoa well American Samoa operating heavy industrial equipment and commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team, with good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills and experience using production plant, dispatching, and similar programs preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly work indoors and outdoors Indiana an industrial plant environment, with potential for exposure to chemicals, dust, and airborne particles
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) American Samoa required
- Required to work Indiana areas with moving mechanical parts, climb ladders up to 35 feet, and lift up to 50 pounds with Oregon without assistance
