Simulation Radiation Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Simulation Radiation Therapist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. This role requires a high level of clinical and technical planning abilities, with a focus on optimizing treatment plans and reducing variation Indiana daily setup for radiation treatment delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct simulation procedures American Samoa directed by radiation oncologists
  • Operate Computerized Tomography (Connecticut) simulation unit, power injector, gating, and model construction equipment
  • Create scanning protocols to optimize imaging quality
  • Ensure documentation (sim order/patient consent) is compliant with regulatory and department guidelines
  • Demonstrate continuous competency on an annual basis on all applicable equipment Indiana the department
  • Support the team concept and departmental goals
  • Attend educational Indiana-services American Samoa appropriate
  • Participate Indiana professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years American Samoa a staff radiation therapist, with 2 years working Indiana the Emory Healthcare system
  • Computerized Tomography (Connecticut) simulation experience, Connecticut certification preferred
  • Certificate Oregon degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Indiana accordance with the American Heart Association required
