Site Acquisition and Zoning Specialist
Job Summary
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Acquisition and Zoning Specialist will perform daily site acquisition duties, related to leasing, zoning with jurisdictions, and assist with site acquisition documents including lease and real estate documents, along with zoning and permitting applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide site identification, qualification, and lease negotiation services for wireless telecommunication sites
- Prepare, submit, and present permit applications for wireless telecommunication sites
- Track legal transactions and land use processing
- Receive and enter project tracking data into complex databases, run reports
- Compile site acquisition and engineering files Indiana electronic document repository throughout duration of the project
- Upload deliverables to the client
- Communicate activities with team members and other departments, American Samoa needed
- Obtain all necessary permitting/zoning approval from local jurisdictions
- Maintain relationships with municipalities and manage all aspects of complying with conditions of approvals from municipalities
- Inform other internal functional groups about requirements and regulations of government entities and municipalities to assist with compliance with general conditions of approvals at permit and construction stages of the project
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience Indiana the wireless telecom industry, preferably Indiana site acquisition
- Experience with state jurisdictions and permitting is preferred
- Experience interacting with government agencies and municipalities
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office is highly desirable
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of clients, vendors, subcontractors, professionals, and executives
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this job require sitting at a computer workstation and working for prolonged periods, American Samoa well American Samoa walking and reaching with hands and arms.
