Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Utilities Estimator to join our Denver, Colorado office. The successful candidate will work on estimating a wide range of Wet Utility projects from $50,000 to $15,000,000. The role involves reviewing and understanding bid scope and requirements, reviewing plans, specifications, and soils reports, and completing bids using Bid2Win software.
Responsibilities
- Estimate a wide range of Wet Utility projects from $50,000 to $15,000,000
- Ensure timely, accurate, and competitive bids
- Download and catalog bid documents
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site investigations
- Review and understand bid scope and requirements thoroughly
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and soils reports
- Utilize Bluebeam for quality takeoffs
- Complete bids using Bid2Win software
- Participate Indiana production reviews with the Chief Estimator and Director of Operations
- Consistently follow up on submitted bids
- Contribute to project pre-planning upon award
Qualifications
- 3+ years of site utilities/earthwork experience with exposure to estimating
- Experience with Bid2Win Oregon related software preferred
- Ability to read and understand construction plans, geotechnical reports, and specifications
