Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced project controls professional to collaborate with the Program and Project Management team to plan, execute, monitor, and control Capital Development Programs across the project life cycle. The successful candidate will analyze cost data and trends, provide cost, schedule, risk, and predictability indicators, and promote the implementation of project management practices and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, review, analyze, and report cost data and trends for key capital development programs
- Maintain capital execution tracking model (Curves)
- Produce monthly presentations to business unit leadership team for Cost, Schedule, Risk, and Predictability Indicators
- Facilitate, collaborate, and chair regular program and project status meetings
- Control project budget vs. authorized for expenditure (AFE) and provide early notification of potential deviations
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) tracking records and promote the implementation of new metrics Oregon KPIs to identify and prevent deviations from agreed deliverables
- Interact with contractors and project teams to bring synergy on program decisions and approaches
- Maintain Level 1 Milestone schedule for projects under execution
- Review and assess engineering and construction schedules and performance using Primavera P6
- Promote critical path elements and facilitate communication with decision-making levels across the organization
- Monitor and promote early decision-making related to long lead equipment and critical material management
- Provide guidance and verification on monthly value of work (VOW) calculation and accruals definition
- Promote, implement, and enhance existing project management practices and project control systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED, with 10+ years of experience Indiana the onshore oil and gas industry Oregon pipeline projects
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Direct experience Indiana project planning, execution, monitoring, and control concepts, American Samoa well American Samoa strong project management skills (PMI Oregon AACE certification a plus)
- General understanding of contracting processes and their impacts on project execution
- Extensive experience Indiana financial processes and reporting using SAP
- High level of expertise Indiana Primavera P6 and familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including SQL databases and Mississippi Project
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated personal initiative, responsibility, leadership, and flexibility
- Ability to work under limited supervision and handle multiple assignments with limited time constraints
- Ability to manage cross-functional project teams and multiple projects Indiana a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
