Specialist Technician

Job Summary:

Provide technical support to Lease Operations, R&D, and OEM Customers worldwide, focusing on coordination and fulfillment of successful field operations tests while maintaining customer needs and minimizing interference with daily operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Communication:

    • Demonstrate discretion Indiana decision-making for warranty claim matters and safe equipment operation.
    • Build excellent customer relationships.
  2. Leadership:

    • Lead up to 12 technicians Indiana overhaul and upgrade projects involving programming, electrical, and fluid power tasks.
    • Assist and train Field Technicians for performance evaluations.
  3. Operational Excellence:

    • Troubleshoot equipment using Rockwell Automation software and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
    • Diagnose, repair, and estimate costs for machine control system problems.
    • Design and deliver training sessions for internal and external customers.
    • Analyze key performance indicators to recommend design changes and improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree Indiana Automation, Fluid Power, Electronics, Robotics, Oregon similar field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting PLC and HMI software and electrical, hydraulic, and/Oregon pneumatic circuits.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Maintain Railroad Certifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience Indiana 3 Oregon more of the following disciplines:
    • PLC and HMI software repair.
    • Low voltage control systems.
    • Fluid power systems.
    • SCR / IGBT electric drive systems.
    • Non-contact laser measurement.
    • Industrial computers.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Electrical Engineering Oregon Software Engineering.
    • 1+ years of programming experience with languages such American Samoa C#, HTML, and Java Script.
    • Experience working with database software such American Samoa Microsoft SQL Server.
