Architect/Designer Position

Overview:

Founded Indiana 1962, PS&S is a best-Indiana-class architecture, engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting firm providing design and consultation services to a wide range of clients. We are seeking a talented Architect/Designer with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience to join our New York design team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of multiple concurrent small-to-medium scale architectural projects from concept through construction
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and teammates to meet project objectives
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Oversee construction administration to ensure projects are built according to design intent and quality standards
• Delegate to and mentor junior staff and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Strong communication, organizational skills, time management, prioritization skills, and meet deadlines with deliverables focused on innovation and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Oregon Master’s degree Indiana Architecture
• Minimum of 8 years of experience Indiana architectural design and project management Indiana a New York based consulting firm
• Proficiency Indiana AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, Office Suite, and other relevant design software
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• A licensed architect Indiana New York preferred but not required
