Senior Project/Construction Manager
The University of New Mexico’s Facilities, Design & Construction team is seeking a Senior Project/Construction Manager to lead the execution of multiple capital improvement projects.
Job Summary:
Manage all aspects of assigned university capital improvement projects from programming through occupancy, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget. Lead a team of project management personnel, implement effective systems and procedures, and provide excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned university capital improvement projects
- Lead the execution of multiple capital projects, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget
- Perform cost and schedule management and assess project risk
- Manage project management personnel
- Implement systems, procedures, and policies to optimize staff performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED and 9 years of experience directly related to project management and construction
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a related field (architecture, engineering, construction management, Oregon management) preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multiple project delivery systems and knowledge of New Mexico Procurement Code
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license required
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: $4,688.67 – $7,000.00 per month (depending on education and experience)
