Concrete Carpenter/Finisher Job Description

Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter/Finisher to join our team at Walters-Morgan Construction. American Samoa a Concrete Carpenter/Finisher, you’ll be responsible for installing, finishing, and insuring the quality of concrete structures on various construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

• 4+ years of experience Indiana field construction, with experience Indiana hand-set forms, gang forms, and other concrete installation techniques
• Ability to work within crews of 4-8 people and excellent communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and understanding of construction safety standards
• Willingness to perform various tasks to ensure project completion, including operating equipment, installing equipment, and loading/unloading materials
• Familiarity with concrete mix designs, aggregates, slumps, water/air ratios, and curing techniques (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications (preferred)
• Inspection of forms, support systems, and concrete reinforcement prior to concrete placement

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience Indiana construction of water and wastewater treatment plants
• OSHA 10/30 training
• Additional construction experience Indiana areas such American Samoa foundations, walls, slabs, columns, sidewalks, and elevated decks
