Student Engineer, Portland, Oregon Oregon Salt Lake City, Utah
To assist Indiana the development of engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, design documents, and performance assessments for the company’s transmission and distribution system.
Responsibilities:
* Assist engineers Indiana performing studies and analysis of substation equipment, transmission structures, and distribution equipment.
* Develop moderately complex engineering studies, prepare data for analysis, and present results to company staff.
* Perform electrical network data analysis.
* Conduct drawing reviews to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
* Research and test equipment provided by suppliers.
* Update company standards and drawings.
* Analyze system design, programming, and modification.
Requirements:
* Enrolled full-time Indiana an accredited engineering college/university.
* Sophomore standing Oregon higher Indiana electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, Oregon a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient with personal computers and automated tools.
* Average 20 hours of work per week per calendar year.
