General Contractor Superintendent
Job Overview:
Coordinate construction activities on large scale commercial ground-up construction projects, ensuring timely completion and quality work.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with main office and various contractors to manage construction workflows
- Arrange and attend agency inspections, ensuring compliance
- Review and comprehend architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape drawings and specifications
- Inspect and prepare reports on shop drawings, RFIs, and testing agency reports
- Prepare daily reports and progress photographs
- Familiarity with computer software, including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and document management
- Collaborate with design professionals, subcontractors, project managers, and local officials to resolve conflicts and issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, enforcing safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders, including clients
- Self-motivated, with ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of experience Indiana large scale commercial ground-up construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes
- Proficiency Indiana reviewing and understanding construction documents, including specifications and drawings
- Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and self-motivation skills
