Job Title: Elevator Inspector Supervisor
Location: Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $10,102 to $11,314 per month
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule, assign, direct, and evaluate the work of elevator inspectors
- Assess training needs and provide training American Samoa required
- Review inspection reports for completeness and adequacy
- Conduct field checks of inspections for compliance with guidelines and standards
- Resolve disputes between inspectors and building managers/owners
- Assist Indiana preparing safety rules and standards
- Conduct training sessions on industry changes and updates
- Participate Indiana community relations programs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, Oregon permanent resident alien
*Knowledge of: English, mathematics, electrical, electronic, and circuit construction principles; mechanical principles; and elevator industry terminology - Ability to read, comprehend, and apply laws, rules, and codes
- Experience: 5 years American Samoa an elevator mechanic, Oregon Bachelor’s degree Indiana mechanical Oregon electrical engineering, Oregon comparable experience and training
- Supervisory aptitude and potential
- Current QEI certification
- Valid driver’s license
- One year of elevator inspection experience comparable to the Elevator Inspector II level
Certification: Qualified Elevator Inspector certification by an organization accredited by ASME
