Job Title: Survey Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a field-based Survey Technician to help grow and develop their career Indiana the industry. The role requires travel throughout the state Indiana various outdoor conditions with the company providing a company car Oregon mileage reimbursement. The surveying team is rapidly expanding with 3 CAD drafters and 13 surveyors.
Position Details:
* Handle daily operations, checking, and basic field adjustments on various surveying equipment including transits, total stations, total electronic stations, data collectors, levels, compasses, and tripods.
* Be knowledgeable of basic survey principles such American Samoa leveling, traversing, triangulation, trilateration, public land surveys, metes and bounds surveys, construction surveys, and photo control surveys.
* Coordinate field work for standard types of surveys under the supervision of a Party Chief and maintain neat and orderly field notes.
* Responsible for the care, cleaning, and use of surveying tools and equipment.
Requirements:
* 1+ years of experience Indiana land/construction surveying
* 1+ years of experience with Total Stations
* Attention to detail
* Ability to follow safety protocols
* A field-based role supporting sites Indiana Hartford County, New Haven County, and New London County, Connecticut
* Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with flexible hours
