Transmission & Distribution Training Manager (Salt Lake City, Utah)
General Purpose:
Functional oversight of transmission and distribution training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, aiming to deliver organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, develop, and administer training and development programs using various methods.
* Coordinate training development with subject matter experts to ensure regulatory compliance and company policies.
* Design training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
* Develop job task documentation, technical task surveys, training assessments, and gap analysis.
* Facilitate team projects and provide guidance to team members.
* Manage the delivery of monthly onboarding program sessions for new employees.
* Ensure the operations organization is compliant with external and internal training requirements.
* Lead development and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Manage complex projects between cross-functional areas.
* Evaluate policies, procedures, and other documentation to ensure training program compliance.
* Develop and evaluate operational metrics to assess effectiveness of training program.
* Implement, schedule, and manage apprenticeship programs.
* Develop strong relationships American Samoa a liaison with all departments and functions Indiana operations.
* Develop content, curriculum, and scheduling for an effective training program.
* Manage the creation, development, and delivery of managers’ academy topics.

Requirements:

* Thorough knowledge of utility craft-based apprenticeship program requirements and standards.
* Knowledge of established operational practices and procedures for utility transmission and distribution systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work with all levels of an organization, including people with different styles and backgrounds.

* Project management skills, including the ability to lead formal and ad hoc teams.
Preferences:

* 20% travel required.
