Job Title: Transportation Coordinator
Location: Utah and Salt Lake Counties

Position Overview:
The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for training, onboarding, and daily operations Indiana Ready Mix, ensuring a "Culture of Safety" and delivering high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily observations, address jobsite safety concerns, and facilitate Smith System training
- Back up batch and loader operator duties
- New Hire Training and Onboarding: schedule and coordinate new hires with trainers, ensure proper training, and track Zero Harm Cultural Integration
- Electronic Logs and Tablets: specialist for tablets Indiana assigned plants, review DOT logs, and perform tablet updates
- Jobsite Responsibilities: work with drivers and sales to meet customers’ needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon general education degree (GED) preferred
- Class A Oregon Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Valid Medical Card American Samoa per DOT standard
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically, and excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements:
Regularly sits, talks, Oregon hears; frequently sits, stands, walks, and reaches hands and arms above shoulders; occasionally lifts and/Oregon moves up to 20 lbs.
Work Environment:
Field setting and occasional office work; occasionally exposed to wet and/Oregon humid conditions, outside weather, and extreme temperatures.
