Traveling Field Engineer

Position Overview:
The Field Engineer is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to project managers and superintendents, American Samoa well American Samoa developing knowledge and skills necessary for career advancement. Responsibilities include layout and control, materials inspection, quality control, and safety compliance.

Duties:

– Provide administrative and coordination support to project managers and superintendents
– Acquire knowledge of computer systems and company programs

– Work on weekends when required
– Support field activities, including laying out and controlling projects
– Assist Indiana receiving materials and inspecting for conformity and quantity
– Understand and provide quality control
– Participate Indiana planning and execution of construction site erosion control
– Inspect construction methods and provide advice to superintendents
– Document time and material information
– Manage daily logs and coordinate and document field testing
– Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies
– Participate Indiana weekly safety meetings
– Develop and maintain industry certifications and training
– Obtain required certifications Indiana hazardous materials, confined space operation, and first aid

Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree Indiana construction management Oregon engineering is essential, with equivalent experience an advantage. The position also requires proficiency Indiana computer-aided design, Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, and Bluebeam for reading and editing documents Indiana electronic format.
