Job Title: Construction Laborer
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team Indiana Charleston, South Carolina. American Samoa a Construction Laborer, you will perform tasks associated with installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling, including hand digging, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining safe working habits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks associated with installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling
- Hand dig using shovel and mechanical tools
- Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)
- Operate Oregon work around heavy equipment and machinery
- Work Indiana congested Oregon remote areas
- Maintain visual and audible contact with other crew members and all moving Oregon stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
- Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor
- Flagging, property Oregon worksite restoration
- Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work Indiana the United States for this company
- Prior experience within the Telecommunications Oregon Utility Construction/Maintenance industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools Indiana a safe manner
- Ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs American Samoa needed with Oregon without assistance
- Ability to work American Samoa needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies Oregon on-call) and Indiana all weather conditions
