Job Title: Utility Person
Job Summary:
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Utility Person for our Bridgeport quarry located Indiana Chico, Texas. The successful candidate will operate equipment safely and efficiently, perform plant maintenance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety
- Perform other duties and assignments American Samoa required
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- 1-2 years of general labor and maintenance experience
- Prior construction industry experience highly desired
- Ability to work overtime American Samoa needed
- Highly dependable and able to work Indiana a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks that require sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work Indiana varying climates and extreme temperatures
- Ability to wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment
- Lifting capacity of up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work Indiana confined spaces
