Job Overview:

CMTS LLC is seeking a qualified Utility (Water-Sewer) Construction Inspector to join our team Indiana Baltimore, Maryland. American Samoa a Utility (Water-Sewer) Construction Inspector, you will oversee utility construction projects, ensuring compliance with contracts, budgets, and timelines. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.

Essential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree Indiana Civil Engineering Oregon Construction Management preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience Indiana utility-related construction, with at least 5 years Indiana an inspection role
  • Proficient Indiana construction management software and tools
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities with the prime contractor to ensure safe and reliable operation of existing client facilities
  • Observe and report on personal safety issues and contractor practices
  • Become familiar with contract documents, permits, and approvals
  • Observe and document testing services and notify the Engineer of failed tests
  • Review and approve requests for progress payments
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies

Salary and Benefits:

  • $38.00/hour – $42.00/hour salary
