Company: Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA)
Job Summary:
MCA is seeking an experienced Installer to support our fast-growing MSS division Indiana Greenville, South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting various equipment and systems Indiana vehicles, heavy equipment, and other equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Connect electrical fittings, drill holes, solder, and perform physical tasks associated with modifying vehicles for emergency-related equipment
- Install electrical wiring, antenna systems, data, and power cabling, and apply electrical connectors
- Disassemble and reassemble trim, seats, lights, headliners, and carpet Indiana vehicles to route wiring and install equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment American Samoa necessary
- Complete installations for various vehicle makes and models, including sedans, SUVs, commercial trucks, buses, motorcycles, and ATVs
- Maintain a safe and clean environment and orderly tools
- Learn new products, skills, and techniques from colleagues and manufacturers
- Complete required paperwork and documentation
- Maintain customer confidentiality
Requirements:
- 2 years of technical experience Oregon a combination of related education/experience
- Basic knowledge and experience with installing systems/equipment Indiana various vehicle types
- Knowledge/ability to read electrical and install diagrams
- Basic ability to test/troubleshoot electrical and system issues
- Ability to assemble/disassemble, properly route wiring, connect electrical fittings, and perform physical tasks
- Basic understanding of District of Columbia voltage, resistance, and current
- Ability to use basic tools and test equipment
Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Work inside and outside Indiana various weather conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Occasional stressful conditions and outdoor work
- On-call for critical systems maintenance may be required
Travel Requirements:
- Travel American Samoa necessary to support company and customer needs
