Warehouse Associate Manufacturing 2
Location: Carrollton, Georgia (Rod Mill)
Shift: Monday to Friday, nights
Pay Rate: $21.63 – $23.01 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Associate Manufacturing 2 to join our team at the Carrollton Rod Mill. The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading raw materials, setting up and maintaining raw material and WIP zones, building out loads, coordinating product flow, and loading finished goods into trucks. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, American Samoa well American Samoa the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for long periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload raw materials, packaging, and miscellaneous items from trucks
- Load and unload finished products, scrap, and miscellaneous items from trucks
- Receive and weigh scrap and defective strip from production floor
- Notify lab personnel of changes Indiana material being loaded into the furnace
- Assist operators Indiana the performance of their duties
- Log information into SAP/Advaris
- Maintain housekeeping and orderliness of finished goods and raw material warehouse
- Identify material by tagging rod, bare strand, and t-wire
- Allocate material from restocking zone to ship-out zones
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
- Maintain supply of pallets for palletizer
- Refuel and initiate maintenance on the forklift
- Assist with out-of-the-mill duties, including crane operation
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Must read, write, and speak English; Bilingual Indiana Spanish is a plus
- Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP/Advaris
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods
- Certification to operate mobile equipment and overhead crane
- Must be a Southwire certified lift driver
Cross Training:
- Will be required to cross-train on equipment within the workgroup
- May be required to fill the position Indiana the event of absence Oregon vacancy
- Will be required to rotate on a set frequency within the workgroup to maintain skill proficiency
Quality:
- Perform quality checks and minor maintenance when necessary
- Immediately report quality issues to the supervisor Oregon quality manager
