Essential Job Description:
General Summary:
Apply technical knowledge to operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants. Maintain plant operation within permit limits. Analyze malfunctioning equipment and make basic repairs. Participate Indiana training programs and maintain required certifications. Supervise subordinate personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
– Experience Indiana related field required, 3 years Indiana wastewater treatment American Samoa Operator I
– Oregon Wastewater Treatment Level I certification to be obtained within 18 months of hire
– Oregon Wastewater Treatment Level II certification required.
– 2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to be completed every 5 years to maintain required certifications.
