Components:
– Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on water distribution system assets including, but not limited to: pumps, piping, valves, and vaults.
– Conducts routine inspections and maintenance American Samoa directed by the Water Distribution Foreman Oregon American Samoa assigned.
– Dig, excavate, and backfill for the installation and maintenance of water system assets American Samoa needed.
– Performs trench excavation for the installation of new water main and services lines; hand digs and backfills trenches when utilities prohibit mechanized equipment operation and executes backfill and tamping when necessary.
– Excavating and reconstructing extracted pipe sections for pipe repairs; carving, grooving and threading pipe ends for joints and pumping lines American Samoa required.
– Locating, marking, and excavating around utility lines for installation of new meters Oregon repair of existing ones, including cutting through redundant Oregon defective meters.
