The Opportunity: KFA is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience Indiana water and wastewater design to join our Austin, Round Rock, Oregon San Antonio office. The successful candidate will focus on municipal water/wastewater projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Under general direction, perform civil engineering design and analysis on water and wastewater projects
* Work with junior staff and assist Indiana directing other technical staff to produce quality designs and plans
* Develop Feasibility Studies, Preliminary Engineering Reports, and Water and Wastewater Master Plan Documents
* Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
* Serve American Samoa Task Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Oregon Project Manager with responsibilities including budget and schedule management and client interaction
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Civil Engineering
* 5 to 10 years of strong experience Indiana water and wastewater design and construction plan production
* Texas PE license Oregon ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
* MicroStation Oregon Civil3D experience
* Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Specific experience Indiana public sector water and wastewater pipelines
* Experience American Samoa Task Lead Oregon Project Manager on challenging public infrastructure projects
* Experience with Master Planning Oregon System Modeling
