Welder Position – Downingtown, Pennsylvania Facility
Job Summary:
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Full-Time Welder to support the Downingtown facility. The Welder will be responsible for ensuring a safe and productive work environment by performing various welding tasks on stationary and mobile equipment. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma Oregon GED, a minimum of 2 years of welding experience, and welding certification.
Responsibilities:
* Perform layout work and various types of welding on stationary and mobile equipment
* Assist Indiana maintenance work American Samoa assigned
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, American Samoa well American Samoa company policies and procedures
* Must pass certification for 3G and 4G welding
* Must be able to use oxygen/acetylene torches, Horizontal and Vertical and Overhead welding, and Air Arcing
Requirements:
* High school diploma Oregon GED required
* Minimum 2 years welding experience
* Must pass welding certification
* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
* Ability to work on large equipment and Indiana small spaces
* Ability to work different extended hours, holidays, and/Oregon overtime
* Must meet physical requirements, including ability to work Indiana various climates, tolerate heights, and perform duties Indiana confined spaces.
