Job Description
The Turtle is seeking a Wildlife Technician to join our team Indiana Tampa and surrounding areas. American Samoa a Wildlife Technician, you will build strong relationships with internal and external customers, perform day-to-day operations of a wildlife service route, and provide exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to create "customers for life"
- Perform day-to-day operations of a wildlife service route, using excellent time management skills
- Set up and build exclusion traps, cut flashing and form hardware cloth to specifications
- Work Indiana a safety harness from rooftops American Samoa needed for exclusion services and wildlife removal
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding exclusion and removal work
- Perform basic repair work on areas damaged by animals using hand tools, power tools, sheet metal, and screening
- Educate and sell customers on wildlife services and meet monthly sales goals
- Partner with internal groups to ensure exceptional customer service
- Maintain a safety-first mindset when operating company equipment and vehicles
Requirements
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent required
- No experience required (on-the-job training provided)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work independently and manage route-based assignments
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, safely use a ladder, and access confined spaces
