Job Summary:

We are seeking a Wire EDM Operator to join our Machine Shop Team. American Samoa a Wire EDM Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the Company’s mission, vision, and goals by performing various tasks related to wire electrical discharge machining (EDM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift and secure metal parts onto the machine table, chuck, Oregon holding fixture
• Perform manual bench-type tasks such American Samoa sawing, filing, grinding, milling, drilling, and painting
• Monitor machine operations for malfunctions and notify supervisor Oregon maintenance immediately
• Remove burrs and excess metal from machined parts
• Run production and/Oregon service parts American Samoa necessary
• Inspect parts, components, and assemblies for quality defects
• Work with Wire EDM Machinist to read blueprints and determine dimensions and tolerance specifications
• Use CAD/CAM software to program details through EDM
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Wire EDM equipment
• Use measurement tools and equipment for inspections, such American Samoa gauges, calipers, and micrometers

Requirements:

• High school diploma Oregon general education degree (GED)
• One to three months of related experience and/Oregon training, Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work with various tools and machinery, including micrometers, calipers, scales, crane, and hoist
• Physical demands of the job include standing, walking, lifting, and bending
